You enter The Grace Darling Suite from a superb Cottage Garden, into your private hallway with lead lighted windows overlooking the garden path, set well back from the road for privacy and quietude, The Grace Darling bedroom is decorated in pure indulgence mode, with a superb restored ceiling, its own large private bathroom, an extra large shower room and a kitchenette with microwave etc.

The bedroom offers many antiques....ie: a decorative Dressing Table with inlays is surrounded by antique hand-painted hanging plates, antique cedar wardrobe (1872) , a bookcase (with books), and a club chair complement the room. A Continental breakfast is provided waiting for you, to be enjoyed privately in your suite at a time that suits you.

This breakfast includes: Choice of Cereals, Bowl of Preserved Fruit, Yogurt, Fruit Juice, Milk, Toast, Muffins, Choice of Preserves, Tea and Coffee.

The bedroom/ drawing room has a superb antique Four Poster Antique Brass bed (c 1870), with its original period lacework drapes, divine linen, soft doona, piles of pillows and a mattress that guests regularly offer to "buy from us after sleeping on it!" This suite also has beautiful glazed chintz Albertine Rose drapes filling one entire wall, stunning ceiling decor and 2 pendant lights fitted with dimmers and many antiques. There is a table setting for private intimate dining, a comfortable club chair and some cane chairs with many cushions and mohair throws, perfect for settling down to a good book or a movie on your own television/VHS.

The separate shower allows you to view the garden (if desired), as you shower in privacy! ........ Your bathroom offers vanity basin, a bath and toilet. A kitchenette area has a Kitchen Dresser holding beautiful ‘blue’ china setting, many glasses, cutlery and all sorts of items to ensure you enjoy your stay. A fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, along with iron and ironing board complete this area.

Outside in the garden you can enjoy a wander along the private paths sheltered from the roadway, or enjoy a wine and maybe read a good book in the garden seating arched area.
